Join us for some outdoor fun at the Shawnee National Forest’s annual ArborWild Event. This free family event includes a morning filled with engaging, educational programs and activities in the beautiful outdoor setting of Evergreen Park in Carbondale, IL. ArborWild will be held Tuesday, June 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This year’s event will include wildland firefighters, being green, wildlife, reptiles, and nature sounds, just to name a few. All ages are invited to attend, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Activities will be on-going and the public is welcome to join at any time. Groups of 10 or larger must pre-register by calling (618) 833-8576 by June 1st. The excitement is building, so don’t miss this summertime event where FUN meets the outdoors at ArborWild.
