28 year old Amanda Huff of Albion was sentenced to one year in prison Thursday in White County Court after entering a guilty plea to one count of possession of a controlled substance. In addition, Huff will be under one year of mandatory supervised release following incarceration. According to States Attorney Denton Aud, in exchange for the plea, charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and possession of cannabis were dropped. Huff also was found guilty of driving while license revoked. The Grayville Police Department conducted the investigation.
