The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On 05/10/2016, Mt. Carmel Police arrested 19 year old Hayley R. Hammond of Mt. Carmel after she was stopped for a traffic violation. Hammond was arrested after it was discovered she was driving on a suspended driver’s license. Hammond was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of bond.
On 05/07/2016, Mt. Carmel Police responded to a report of an underage drinking party at 150 College Campus Road. MCPD Officer’s found 11 individuals under the age of 21 consuming alcohol. The following individuals were arrested and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor:

Keagan J. Helson, age 18, Chicago, Illinois
Aaron M. McGeorge, age 19, Lexington, Kentucky
Trey W. Beckman, age 19, Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Ramie M. Dossett, age 19, Evansville, Indiana
Bailey Montgomery, age 19, Vincennes, Indiana
Branden P. Giroux, age 20, Lafayette, Indiana
Lacey R. Key, age 19, Newburgh, Indiana
Noah S. Etchison, age 20, Pendleton, Indiana
A 17 year old female from Mt. Carmel was also for illegal consumption by a minor. She was cited at the scene and turned over to a family member. The above mentioned individuals were cited on scene and given a mandatory court date.
