A pair of Harrisburg residents were arrested by the Carmi Police Department early Saturday morning after a call was received about an argument in the Huck’s parking lot.
Just before 12:30am Saturday, officers arrived to find 50 year old Larry Smith and 33 year old Amber Smith having a physical altercation inside their vehicle. Both were taken into custody at that time and transported to the White County jail.
Larry Smith was charged with domestic battery and is being held pending a court hearing. Amber Smith was charged with DUI of alcohol and possession of a controlled substance. She was later released after posting a $1500 bond.
