April 23, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.— Southeastern Illinois College will host an Under the Big Top come and go circus event in the Southeastern Illinois College Harry L. Crisp Student Center Cafeteria. Cost is $5 per person and will include a magic show with Chris Egelston at 11 a.m., games, prizes and more. This event is running in conjunction with SIC Theatre’s production of Barnum: The Musical. Tickets to the show can be purchased at a discounted rate of $5 for any showing upon registration of the Under the Big Top event. April 26, 4-6 p.m. — Southeastern Illinois College hosts the annual Kids Fair in the Joseph C. Deaton gym. This is a free event for preschoolers – fifth graders. There will be games, free food, a fire truck and a police car among other fun attractions. Sponsored by the Community Education Department at SIC and donations made by Wabash Area Development Inc., Harrisburg Medical Center and Pepsi Mid-America. April 26, 6:30 p.m. — Southeastern Illinois College will hold its annual Honors Night in the George T. Dennis Visual & Performing Arts Center.
May 1, 1 p.m. – The Southeastern Illinois College Student Art Exhibit reception will be held in the George T. Dennis Visual and Performing Arts Center Art Gallery lobby. This exhibit will be on display from April 18- through the end of the summer semester.
