25 year old Charley Buchanan of Carmi was arrested just before 8pm Thursday night on a White County warrant for theft by deception. She is accused of using a fake $100 bill to purchase a pizza. Buchanan was taken into custody at her 9th Street residence and transported to the White County Jail, where she is being held on a $1500 bond.
Two Carmi residents were taken into custody just after 10:30pm Thursday after a call to the Carmi Police Department alleging 
domestic battery.
50 year old Jon Brassard and 43 year old Kimberly Rose were placed under arrest at Brassard’s residence on N 7th Street. Both were transported to the White County Jail, where both are being held without bail pending a court hearing.
