On April 13 from 9 a.m.- noon, Southeastern Illinois College will once again be hosting a Job Fair in the Harry L. Crisp Student Center.
At SIC’s annual Job Fair, job seekers of all types will have an opportunity to survey the employment field, network and perhaps take a step toward a new future. Attendees can expect at least 30-40 vendors from a wide variety of areas and industries, including hospitals, nursing homes, technology companies, federal and state agencies and heavy machinery companies. The event is free not only for job-seekers, but also for employers to set up a booth.
“If you are looking for a job, this would be a great place to start,” said Donna Hearn, SIC Community Outreach Supervisor. “There are few places locally where a person can speak with this number of employers all in one place.”
Those attending should bring copies of their resume and dress to interview.
The fair is put on in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Rehabilitation Services, the Illinois Department of Employment Services and SIC.
