Carmi City Supervisor Mike Buckman has announced that the Burrell Street road construction project will begin the morning of Monday, April 4th.
During this phase of construction, motorists should expect temporary traffic delays and road closures. Later, when the project will approach the railroad crossing, Burrell Street will be closed while the signals are down. That closure will be announced at a later date.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience the construction may cause.
