Carmi Police make several arrests Tuesday and Wednesday

The Carmi Police Department arrested 22 year old Christopher Pinkard of Carmi on Tuesday morning for driving on a suspended license.  Officers pulled over Pinkard at the intersection of Oak Street and Lexington Avenue just after 8:30am.  Pinkard was transported to the White County Jail and later released on bond.

 

At 11:36am Tuesday, Carmi Police arrested 38 year old Chad Carrow of Carmi on a Wabash County warrant in the lobby of the Police Department.  Carrow was wanted on a charge of failure to appear.  Carrow was processed and later released after posting bond.

Wednesday morning, Carmi Police arrested 38 year old Bridget McCormick of Effingham at 106 E Robinson Street on an Effingham County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of retail theft.  McCormick was taken into custody at 10:33 am and transported to the White County Jail, where she remains being held on a $250 bond.

 

Just after noon on Wednesday, Harold Abbey reported to Carmi Police that sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday morning, someone stole two resin statues from his back patio on N First Street.

 

Carmi Police arrested 46 year old Anthony Hogue of Carmi and 24 year old Brittney Davis of Mt. Vernon, Indiana for disorderly conduct just before 8pm on Wednesday after the two were arguing and cursing in the street at the intersection of Cherry and Locust Streets.  Both were transported to the White County Jail.  Hogue was released on a $150 bond, while Davis remains in custody pending a bond post.
