Pro-Life and Pro-Family groups endorse Reis

Illinois’ leading pro-life and pro-family groups have announced their sole endorsements of David Reis for his re-election as State Representative of the 109th District.
Those organizations endorsing Representative Reis are the Illinois Federation for Right to Life (IFRL), Illinois Citizens for Life, and the Illinois Family PAC.
“David’s ability to introduce and move pro-life legislation like the Born Alive Infant Act and the Mandatory Reporting of Abuse Act are important reasons to return him to the Illinois General Assembly,” said Ralph Rivera, Chairman of the Illinois Citizens for Life organization.  “David has maintained a 100% pro-life voting record since arriving in Springfield.”
“We commend David’s faithful and unwavering support of important pro-family legislation in the Illinois House,” stated Paul Caprio, Executive Director of Family PAC.
“David has clearly demonstrated his commitment to preserving traditional family values here in Illinois. We look forward to his leadership in the years ahead.”
“We are pleased to once again support David’s reelection with our endorsement,” said IFRL lobbyist Dawn Behnke.  “Time and time again, Rep. Reis has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to supporting life and strongly opposing legislation that goes against our moral beliefs.”
In addition Reis has introduced and supported legislation to keep the words “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance and a bill to create a new “Choose Life” license plate that will generate monies to assist in providing the required prenatal care for women who choose to place their unborn child up for adoption.
“Since my first election, I have always pledged to go to Springfield and represent our Southern Illinois values,” commented Reis. “It is truly an honor to work with and have the support of such prominent organizations that work hard every day to defend our traditional beliefs.”
The 109th District includes all or parts of nine counties including Effingham, Jasper, Clay, Richland, Lawrence, Wayne, Edwards, Wabash, and White.
