Mt. Carmel Police arrested 37 year old Christina L. Funkhouser of O’Fallon, Missouri after she was observed at an apartment complex located at 9th and Oak Street. The arresting officer knew Funkhouser was wanted on Wabash County warrant. Funkhouser was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was served the warrant and held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 44 year old Shannon Brimm of Mt. Carmel after he was accused of striking his girlfriend in the face. Police were notified that the victim was at Wabash General Hospital being treated for minor injuries. The victim stated that the night before Brimm struck her multiple times. The victim waited till the next morning when Brimm went to work to seek medical attention. Brimm was located and arrested by MCPD Officer’s. Brimm was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of bond.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 23 year old Brady J. Choate of Mt. Carmel after police responded to a vehicle in the roadway at the intersection of 3rd Street and Railroad. Upon arrival MCPD Officers located the broken down vehicle and found the driver to be Choate. Choate was operating the vehicle with a suspended drivers license and was subsequently transported to the Wabash County Jail. Choate was issued a citation for driving while suspended. Choate was released after posting bond.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 36 year old Patrick W. Bumm of Mt. Carmel on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant. Bumm was located at his residence in the 200 block of W. 11th Street and taken into custody. Bumm was transported to the Wabash County Jail where the warrant was served. Bumm was held pending the posting of bond.
