Phelps Holding Carbondale Office Hours in March

Wanting to hear the thoughts and concerns of residents, state Rep. Brandon Phelps, D-Harrisburg, is holding Carbondale Office Hours on Monday, March 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Civic Center, located at 200 S Illinois Ave. in Carbondale.

“I am here as a resource for the residents of Southern Illinois and I look forward to answering any questions or concerns that folks may have regarding state and local issues,” Phelps said. “One of the most important things as a representative is to hear from residents and I love being able to meet with individuals in person and talk about what matters to them most.”

Carbondale Office Hours is a way that Phelps can connect with residents in the 118th District, especially those in Jackson County. He wants to ensure that residents are aware that his constituent service office is open and accessible to everyone who might have any questions, concerns, or issues regarding the local community or Illinois.

“A drive from Carbondale to Harrisburg is not a stone’s throw away, and so I want to be able to provide a more convenient time and place for people to pop in and talk to me,” Phelps said. “It’s important that any questions or issues individuals may have are being answered and addressed.”

Brandon Phelps represents the 118th District in the Illinois General Assembly, which includes all or portions of Alexander, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Johnson, Massac, Pope, Pulaski, Saline, and Union counties.
