Hamilton County States Attorney Justin Hood has announced that an arrest has been made in the bomb threat that shut down Hamilton County Junior/Senior High in McLeansboro Thursday.
McLeansboro City Police with assistance from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, Illinois Secretary of State Police, and Illinois State Police arrested a juvenile suspect Friday morning at the school. The juvenile is being held at the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center in Benton and has been charged with falsely making a terrorist threat and disorderly conduct, both of which are felonies.
