The Carmi-White County Baseball team defeated Eldorado on the road yesterday by a final score of 10-2.

Merick Millhorn picked up the win on the mound. He pitched all 7 innings allowing 2 runs on 5 hits with 6 strikeouts. Mitchel Edwards led the way offensively, he went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI and his first career home run. 

The Bulldogs improve to 6-8-1 on the season. They will finally be back at Eckerle Park this afternoon as they host Harrisburg. It will be Carmi’s first home game since March 18th. The Bulldogs will also be at home tomorrow as they host Eldorado.

The Carmi-White County Softball team was scheduled to travel to Eldorado yesterday afternoon, but that game was canceled as Eldorado forfeited. Eldorado also forfeited tomorrow’s game scheduled at Carmi. With the two forfeit wins, the Lady Bulldogs improve to 7-8 on the year, they will host Mt. Vernon (IN) on Monday. 

The Carmi-White County Boys Tennis team traveled to Salem yesterday afternoon, and the Bulldogs fell by a final score of 6-3.

Gabe Winkleman, Kale Wiggins, and Reece Whitley won their singles matches. 

The Bulldogs were supposed to host Carbondale today at Bradshaw Park, but that match has been moved to Monday and will now be played at Carbondale. The Boys Tennis team will travel to Marion tomorrow.
