The Carmi-White County Baseball team fell to Johnston City yesterday afternoon by a final score of 6-0.
The Bulldogs fell behind 2-0 in the first inning, the Indians plated 1 in the 4th, 2 in the 5th, and another in the 6th to hand the Dogs the shutout defeat.
Travor Mason and Merick Millhorn had Carmi’s only hits on the day.
The Bulldogs fall to 4-7-1 on the year. They will travel to Edwards County today for a rematch with the Lions. Edwards County defeated Carmi 5-2 back on Tuesday.
The Carmi-White County Softball team will also travel to Edwards County this afternoon. They look to avenge an 8-2 loss against the Lady Lions on Tuesday.
The Carmi-White County Boys Track team will take part in the Flora Invitational this afternoon. Events will begin at 4 PM.
The Carmi-White County Boys Tennis team will travel to Mt. Vernon (IL) this afternoon, they will then travel to Greenville tomorrow.
