The Carmi police made an arrest on Thursday afternoon after receiving a call about a man passed out on the lawn of a Sycamore Street residence. On arriving at the scene officers took 20 year old Dakota Goodwin into custody at 2:14pm on a charge of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor after he registered a .2 BAC after a breath sample was analyzed. Goodwin was also wanted on a failure to appear warrant for Aggravated Battery. He is being held at the White County Jail on a $650 bond.
