White County CEO Set to Add 18 Fresh Faces Next Year as Current Group Prepares for Trade Show Monday

It’s going to be a humdinger of a year coming up for the White County CEO group.  Class facilitator Tracy Orr announced Thursday there would be 18 students participating as part of CEO next year, effectively doubling the size of this year’s class.  They had a record number of applicants (25) and accepted 11 Carmi-White County students along with 7 NCOE students.  The make up of next year’s class will be 12 female and 6 male.

Orr and the 5 current Carmi-White County students of this year’s class were on hand to promote their upcoming CEO Trade Show at Thursday’s Kiwanis meeting.  The Trade Show will be held at Rice Motor Company from 5p – 7p and will feature the kids’ entrepreneurial start ups.  Among them, Jasmine Allen and her “5 Curses” book she authored which includes 5 short stories written by Allen; Kalin Black’s business Shine, featuring homemade candles; Crazy Kids Corner by Jace Burzynski with a variety of products for kids; Relaxed by Riley run by Riley Dagley, a business featuring homemade self care products; Happy Bean by Elleigh Gray introducing the student’s own T-shirt designs; JRJx2 and Songs for You, a business by Jevin Johnson which aims to create songs and jingles for customers; Lamp Productions by Jason Lamp offering a documentary “Carmi: Road to the Playoffs” based on the 2021 Bulldogs football season; Soul-Filled Wishes by Samaria Snow, a business offering custom artwork on shoes; and lastly Mackenzie Willis who runs Energy Awareness, crystal jewelry designed by the student.  You can learn more at http://www.whitecountyceo.com.
