A 20 year old Mt. Carmel man, Anakin Schieve, was arrested by Mt. Carmel Police Friday following a traffic stop. During the stop, it was discovered that Schieve was wanted on a warrant out of Knox County, Indiana for Domestic Battery. Shieve was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held for Knox County authorities.
Domenic Migliarese, 28, of Mt. Carmel was arrested by Mt. Carmel Police Friday after authorities were called to the 600 block of W. 1st Street in reference to an unwanted person. Officers located Migliarese, who had an active Wabash County Warrant for a Probation Violation. He was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail.
30 year old Nestor J. Hurtado-Sequeria of Hialeah, Florida was arrested by Mt. Carmel Police Friday for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was transported to the Wabash County Jail pending the posting of bond.
A 51 year old Flora man, Danny R. Brummitt, was arrested by Mt. Carmel Police Saturday in the 1300 block of Cherry Street. Brummitt was wanted on a Wabash County Warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine. He was transported to the Wabash County Jail.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested two subjects on Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charges after police were called to the 1300 block of Cherry Street Saturday in reference to a bad check. While on the scene officers found suspected drug paraphernalia in a room rented by 53 year old Shortina A. Rogers of Albion and Sedrick D. Cousins of Henrico, Virginia. Both were arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail.
A 32 year old Mt. Carmel man, Clint J. Hyneman, was stopped by Mt. Carmel Police Monday for Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License. He was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for the infraction.
Brian T. Hartwell of Poseyville, Indiana was arrested by Mt. Carmel Police Tuesday following a traffic stop for speeding in the 1500 block of Cherry Street. During the stop it was discovered Hartwell was driving on a suspended driver’s license. He was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License, No Insurance, and Speeding (53 in a 40 MPH zone).
