Freddie L. Swift, 42, of Mt. Carmel, was sentenced in White County Court Monday to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by 1 year of Mandatory Supervised Release on a Class 4 felony charge of Aggravated Assault. Grayville Police Department was the original investigating agency. Swift was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle. Honorable T. Scott Webb was the presiding judge that imposed the sentence.
