Lillian Lorene Emery Travelstead was born the second child of William M. Emery and Joan Clifford on January 6, 1957 in Evansville, Indiana. She passed on January 2, 2020 while in Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, Indiana.Lorene married William Francis Brown Jr. on May 25, 1975 in Carmi, Illinois and they had a son and 2 daughters. William Francis Brown III (Lindsey) of Evansville Indiana, Samantha Joan Brown Hillard (Jimmy) of Eldorado, Illinois and Amanda Nicole Brown of Saint Augustine, Florida. She is survived by her father William Emery (Donna) of Norris City, IL, oldest sister Gloria Diana Emery Frymire (Thomas) of New Whiteland, IN and brother Jeffery Emery of Norris City, IL, sister Jeanna Gross Davolt of Boonville, Indiana, brother Bobby Gross, 2 nieces and 3 nephews and 10 Great nieces and nephews. She has 11 living Grandchildren, Isaiah Horton of Broughton, IL, Jesse and Jacob Hillard of Eldorado, IL, Brittney Rustin Dean (Donald) of Evansville, IN, Tearny Rustin (Katie) of Newburgh, IN, Hannah Brown of Evansville, IN, Sarah Brown of Tennessee, five Great Grandchildren Tyler Horton, of Carrier Mills, IL, Mason and Henry Dean of Evansville, IN, Clover and Ford Stone of Evansville, IN. Lillian was preceded in death by her mother Joan, two sisters Linda Louise Emery Warren (Lucky), and Debbie Gross, brother Thomas Gross and one Granddaughter Alyssa Duncan. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Funeral services for Lillian Lorene Travelstead, 62, of Eldorado will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2020 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. She will be interred in Union Ridge Cemetery next to her sister Linda and later her sister Diana. Visitation will be on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
