Several local Senior Citizens have reportedly been the target of a phone scam recently. The caller pretends to be from Publisher’s Clearing House and tells the intended victim they are the winner of millions of dollars in the Grand Prize Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes. The caller then proceeds to ask for personal and account information to claim the winnings. Please be advised that this is a scam. Never give out personal information, including bank account information over the phone. If you have been a victim of this scam please call the police.
