Kiwanis Recognizes Legion of Honor Members

Honored by President, Eric Rahlfs, were Kiwanis members Andrea Hays, Dave Johnson, Scott Rice, and Keith Hoskins. Kim Gwaltney served as Master of Ceremony for the special occasion.

At the weekly meeting of the Carmi Kiwanis Club, Kim Gwaltney, a past president of Kiwanis, served as master of ceremony for the presentation of the Legion of Honor award to four members who have served the club faithfully.

To be eligible for the award a member must have a minimum of 25 years of service as a Kiwanian. Then a member may again be so honored with each succeeding five years of membership.

Interestingly, Ms. Gwaltney introduced each honoree with a trivia game of local sport’s happenings contributed by Toby Brown as well as other events of the year being recognized.
