Two Arrested by Crossville Police and White County Sheriff’s Office on Meth Charges

36 year old, Jedadiah Locher of Crossville and 28 year old Charlene Read of Mt. Carmel are both lodged in the White County Jail as of 5:00 pm Thursday. The Crossville Police Department along with the White County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at Locher’s residence at 706 W. Main Street in Crossville. Officers found approximately 3 grams of methamphetamine, numerous dime bags, some with meth residue, digital portable scales, meth and cannabis pipes, a used hypodermic needle which tested positive for having meth in it, and some cannabis. Locher was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, unlawful use of property and possession of drug paraphernalia. Read, who was at the residence at the time, was charged with possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle. Read was also arrested on an Edwards County Warrant for Failure to Appear on an Unlawful Use of Weapons charge.
