A 23 year old Carmi man, Joshua M. Farris, was stopped by Carmi Police Friday afternoon, near Fifth and Stewart Streets for erratic driving. He was given field sobriety tests and failed. Farris was arrested for DUI. A breath sample revealed a Breath Alcohol Content of .183.
42 year old, Michelle L. Bartley, of Carmi, was taken to the White County Jail early Tuesday morning, following a traffic stop. Carmi Police arrested Bartley for Driving While License Suspended and cited her for Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. She was released after posting $250 bond.
