36-year old Brandon T. Robinson of Mattoon, Illinois, was sentenced Thursday, October 3, 2019 to a total of 5-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a term of 2-years of Mandatory Supervised Release (formerly known as “parole”) in Edwards County Case No. 2016-CF-32. Brandon T. Robinson pled guilty to the offense of Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. Edwards County State’s Attorney Eric A. St Ledger prosecuted the case on behalf of the People of the State of Illinois and defense attorney, Paula Newcomb, represented the defendant, Brandon T. Robinson. The case was investigated by the Edwards County Sheriff’s Department.
