A 45 year old resident of O’Fallon, IL, Anessa Dawn Barnett is being held in the White County Jail, as of Monday afternoon, on charges of Criminal Trespass to a residence and Disorderly Conduct. Barnett was originally arrested by Carmi Police on September 6th when she was found intoxicated at 502 Elm Street. She was arrested at the time on charges of Criminal Trespass to Property, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting a Peace Officer. She was taken to the White County Jail where she posted bond and was released. Following her release, Barnett was arrested after causing a ruckus in McLeansboro in the early Saturday morning hours. Barnett was arrested a second time and taken back to the White County Jail for Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Aggravated Battery of a Police Officer. Barnett has a 9:00 am. First Appearance before Judge Tedeschi on October 17th on the original charges from her first arrest. Online records do not indicate a court date for the new charges.
