A Meth Arrest And A Couple Of Warrant Arrests Keep CPD Busy Tuesday Afternoon

A 45 year old Carmi man is being held on drug charges. Tuesday afternoon, Carmi Police officers executed a search warrant at the home of Kendra Obrien, 417 7th Street. Found in the home was methamphetamine related paraphernalia as well as a baggy with approximately 9 grams of crystal methamphetamine. David Brocket was arrested on felony charges of possession of meth and meth related child endangerment, as well as a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was being held in the White County Jail, until a parole warrant was issued from the Illinois Department of Corrections for Brockett to be taken into immediate custody by the IDOC. Additional arrests are expected as the investigation is ongoing. The 7 year old child, who was in the home at the time, was left in the custody of his grandmother.

 

Carmi Police made a couple of warrant arrests Tuesday evening. 33 year old Derek L. Randolph of Crossville was arrested on a White County warrant for aggravated domestic battery. 45 year old Dale R. McLain of Carmi was arrested on a White County warrant for Aggravated Fleeing. Bond on both warrants was $2000. Both are still being held in the White County Jail as of Wednesday morning.
