Healy Among 80 Volunteers Elected to Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame

Holly Healy, a standout at pretty much every position she’s held in her professional career has added one more honor to an already distinguished resume.  The Norris City woman is now a Hall of Fame member following her recent induction by the Illinois 4-H Foundation.  She was recognized during a ceremony at the Illinois State Fair in mid August for her exemplary efforts in that arena.
In addition to being a notable 4-H member herself, Healy has gone on to become a caring, dedicated and generous leader of the organization and is raising her daughter to be the same kind of extraordinary individual.  As one of only 80 member elected to his year’s class, the honor is bestowed to help celebrate significant 4-H alumni, volunteers, and former 4-H staff.  Each inductee, along with Healy, received a commemorative Hall of Fame medallion.
“These volunteers fully embody what 4-H strives to instill in youth,” said Angie Barnard, Illinois 4-H Foundation executive director. “They are caring, dedicated, generous leaders, and the Illinois 4-H Foundation is extremely proud to be able to provide this honor to thank them for their service to this wonderful organization.”
The Illinois 4-H Foundation established the statewide Hall of Fame in 2004.  “The Foundation provides avenues to support the work of Illinois 4-H by accepting financial gifts specifically directed to the program you wish to support,” Barnard said. “Estate planning services are available to those wishing to continue their 4-H legacy.”
