Prison Sentences Handed Down For Three White County Men Wednesday

Three White County men received prison sentences in White County court yesterday, according to State’s Attorney Denton Aud.  He tells us 25 year old Jacob Holland of Carmi received a 20 year sentence for his conviction of a Class X felony of Home Invasion.  His prison term will be followed by 3 years of supervised release.

31 year old Michael J. Sullivan of Carmi will spend the next 3 years behind bars in the Department of Corrections we’ve learned.  He received matching 3 year sentences on convictions of Aggravated Battery, a class 3 felony and also Criminal Damage to Government Property, a class 4 felony.  In addition to his prison sentence, Sullivan will be saddled with a year of mandatory supervised release.

Finally in White County court Wednesday, 32 year old Crossville resident Seth Perry learned his fate.  Perry had been previously placed on conditional discharge.  That was revoked with a new sentence entered yesterday following his conviction of possession of methamphetamine in Edwards County.  Perry will spend the next 3 years in prison to be followed by 4 years of mandatory supervised release.

Judge Scott Webb was the presiding judge in all 3 men’s cases.
