First Bank Looking for Carmi Talent; Winners Get a Spot on the Corn Day Main Stage

First Bank will get behind this year’s Corn Days celebration in a new and exciting way.  The business is hosting a Carmi’s Got Talent competition on Wednesday, October 9th in the high school auditorium.  In addition to the top 3 finishers getting cash prizes, each will also win a spot on the Carmi Kiwanis Club Corn Days Main Stage on Saturday afternoon.  First Bank, where Kiwanis Club president Katelyne Wolff works, officials say there’s no charge to enter the contest, but spectators will pay $5 for attendance.  Acts should aim to be no more than 3 and a half minutes long and only the first 20 acts will be accepted.  Folks who attend will have a hand in determining the top 3 acts.  Register online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CarmiTalent.  We’ll also make the link available in this story on our website in the news section of wrul.com.
