A physical dispute Tuesday evening just before 7pm led to two Carmi women finding themselves behind bars. Carmi Police were called to 507 Oak Street where both women live. 41 year old Melody Walker was cuffed and has been charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery. 25 year old Jessica Brown faces a charge of Domestic Battery. Melody Walker bonded out later on Wednesday. Brown was released on her own recognizance. Online records don’t yet indicate when the two will be due in White County court.
