29 year old Sasha Richards of Keenesburg avoided jail by bonding out on scene following her arrest early this morning. Carmi Police say the arrest happened just before 1am Wednesday morning at the intersection of Oak and Burrell. Among the charges Richards faces include a misdemeanor for driving while license suspended, two citations; 1 for operating an uninsured vehicle and another for operating a vehicle with suspended registration. She also received two civil citations; 1 for possession of cannabis, less than 10 grams and another for possession of drug paraphernalia. Richards was able to get someone to bring the $250 needed for bond to the scene of the arrest and to give her a ride and her vehicle was towed by Cherry Street Automotive.
