The American Red Cross will host a blood drive this coming Tuesday at First Christian Church in Carmi. The blood drive will be held from 2 – 7pm on Tuesday, August 13th in the fellowship hall at 504 Beohleber Drive. The Red Cross is asking folks with O, A negative or B negative to consider what they call a double red donation due to their current shortage. You’re welcome to just show up for the event. However, you can also schedule an appointment with phlebotomists by visiting red cross blood dot org and entering FCC Carmi in the location field. To thank donors, Amazon is gifting $5 gift cards through August 29th.
