Runaway Reported
The White County Sheriff’s Department is once again investigating a reported runaway from the Baptist Children’s Home in rural Carmi.
According to the report, released by White County Sheriff Doug Maier, the runaway was described as a black male, 16 years old, about 5’ 10” and weighing 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
The report noted the juvenile left the children’s home around midnight, with a runaway report filed just after 1 Wednesday morning.
