Legion Baseball
The Carmi American Legion Baseball team will be in action this afternoon. The locals will host Boonville, Ind for a 6 o’clock game.
The Legion team was supposed to have played Poseyville, Ind, last (wed) night, but Poseyville was unable to field a team this season.
The local Legion team will be back in action Saturday as they host Newburgh, Ind. for a doubleheader set to begin around 1 Saturday afternoon.
Tuesday, Jne18, the Legion team will be in Mt. Vernon, Ind. for a 6 p.m match.
Wednesday the locals will host the McLeansboro Legion Team for a 1:30 doubleheader. Then Sunday, the 23, the locals will take on Grayville for a 1:30 doubleheader here in Carmi.
