ENFIELD VILLAGE BOARD
The village board members were sworn in: Terry Harrison, Mary Dormer, Judy Beth Palmiter, Jim Bolin and Maury Black, who were re-elected; and Jim Fechtig, who was appointed to fill out the two-year unexpired term of Aaron Dauby.
The board approved the renewal of liquor licenses for Billy Bob and Nina’s and the Enfield One-Stop.
$750 was allocated for the village’s share of the cost of insurance for the Fourth of July fireworks. Last year, insurance cost $1,774 with $471 coming from Enfield and the rest from donations.
The town-wide rummage sale will be on Saturday, June 8th.
The park is cleaned up and in good shape.
Action on the Vinod Gupta property and the hiring of an ordinance officer was tabled as village attorney Jonathan Turpin was unable to attend the board meeting. A special meeting will be held at a later date with Turpin attending to discuss these items.
