Chair of Honor
The Shawneetown American Legion will host a special presentation at 1 Saturday afternoon.
Rolling Thunder will be donating and installing a POW/MIA chair to honor those former and current prisoners of war and thos who are still missing in action as well as their families.
The chair will be placed outside and in front of the Shawneetown Legion, to remind everyone of those service men and women who have not returned home and so they will not be forgotten.
The legion and Rolling Thunder invite all veterans and their families, along with all community members to attend the presentation.
The Rolling Thunder motto is : We will not forget.
Rolling Thunder chapters across the country will converge in Washington D.C. over the Memorial Day weekend to participate in one of the largest motorcycle gatherings on the east coast; the annual Memorial Day Rolling Thunder Parade.
