Topsoil moisture supply was rated at 26 percent adequate and 74 percent surplus. Subsoil moisture supply was rated at 34 percent adequate and 66 percent surplus.

Corn planted reached 10 percent compared to 68 percent last year and 66 percent for the 5-year average. Corn emerged reached 2 percent compared to 12 percent last year. Soybeans planted was 3 percent compared to 26 percent last year and 16 percent for the 5-year average.
