Benton Seniors Sign for Rend Lake
BENTON, Ill. (April 29, 2019) — Twenty-two Benton Consolidated High School seniors enrolled at Rend Lake College last week during one of RLC’s College Signing events. Many of these students have already taken advantage of The Lake’s free Dual Credit program, saving themselves and their families tens of thousands in college costs. By choosing to continue their education in one of more than 100 degree or certificate programs at RLC, these students will save around $18,000 a year in tuition and fees — when compared to the average cost of a public university.

RLC will be at Mt. Vernon on Thursday for a College Signing event. Students there will have the chance to register with a trained academic advisor, receive an exclusive “I Choose Rend Lake College” tee shirt, and participate in the photo opportunity
