Shook Sisters Pitching Clinic This Weekend

Shook Sisters Pitching Clinic

The Shook Sisters, former Carmi White County High School Softball pitchers, will be in town this weekend to host their 8th annual Shook Sisters Pitching Clinic.

The sisters, Ita Shook Pumphrey, Holly Shook Messer and Kara Shook Woodrow, all have collegiate pitching experience on scholarships after graduating from CWC. The sisters are again this year offering a chance to share their knowledge with young ladies and parents who want to learn about pitching in a one day clinic. The clinic is open to girls from 7 through 17 and will be held at Field 3 at Bradshaw Park, this Sunday, April 28.
The session will run from about 1 until 3 Sunday afternoon.

There will be a class for beginners, open to players with little to no experience on the mound. There will also be an intermediate session for those who have speed or accuracy and can throw a strike.

There is a $30 per pitcher charge.

All participants, including catchers will have to sign a release waiver at check  in and provide your own insurance. There will be no refunds.

To register, or for more information, one may contact Ita Pumphrey at 618-355-0526 or e-mail; [email protected]

Checks or money orders must be postmarked no later than April 24, which is Wednesday. The checks and a registration form, available online can be mailed to Ita Pumphrey, 10 Manas Driver, Belleville, IL 62226.
