Shane Farris Memorial Jam
Organizers of the annual Shane Farris Memorial Scholarship Jam invite everyone to come out Saturday night to help out a worthy cause.
The annual jam will get underway around 5, Saturday, April 6 with the Appetizers and Mark Rogers. They will be followed by Long Hard Road, a group of musicians that have been playing together since the 1970s.
The veteran band will be followed by Pez and the Dispensers.
Matt Lenon and Tim Hall will provide an acoustic set for the evening.
Rounding out the evening music will be Six to Midnight.
There will be a $5 cover charge for the evening. The Elks bar will be open through the jam session. Proceeds will benefit the Shane Farris Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Everyone is invited to the special event.
Proceeds from the annual jam session will be used to help fund Shane Farris Scholarships which are presented to Carmi-White County students each May during the annual high school awards ceremony.
