Grayville Commissioners Looking at Busy Meeting

The Grayville City Council will meet at 7 Monday night for what looks to be a very busy agenda, however some of the listed items may not take a lot of time to deal with.

The Grayville Commissioners will likely approve a dispatch service agreement with White County as one of the main orders of business.

A decision on mowing bids is expected, a revolving loan ordinance, and a request for TIF funds will be covered.

The swimming pool will also be discussed as the commissioners will be asked for approval to advertise for a pool manager, lifeguards and concession lease, along with swimming pool equipment and supplies.

The commissioners will be asked to made a number of decisions including a pest control agreement, an engineering agreement and a generator maintenance agreement.

Other matters include an EPA water loan/grant, and a CDAP grant application for waterline replacement.

A GCAA request for a utility donation and a request from Jones Realty to extend construction time on a project will be covered by the council.

Rian Waterbury of Fischer and Fischer Oil, will present the board with an oil and gas drilling prospect.

The council will also be asked to approve advertising for a full time city hall payroll clerk.

The preliminary budget will also be discussed with a public hearing date likely to be set.

The meeting will include reports from the commissioners and Mayor Joe Bisch.
