According to the Illinois State Police traffic report, Ronald Cipriano, 57 of Miami Beach, Florida was westbound between Grayville and Bt. Prairie, near the Little Wabash River when high winds lifted the empty semi trailer causing both the trailer and truck to overturn. The overturned rig completely blocked both westbound lanes.

Cipriano was not hurt in the crash that occurred around 10:15 Thursday morning.

An Illinois State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer was assigned to investigate the crash. In addition, ISP was assisted at the scene by the White County Sheriff’s Department, Grayville Police, Little Wabash Fire Protection District, Illinois Department of Transportation and Rick’s Towing.

No charges were filed in the incident.
