It was a tough night for the Carmi White County Bulldogs who fell to conference rival Eldorado 42 to 33 in a game broadcast on our sister station, WRUL 97.3 FM. Jason Craig and Chris Lucas had the action covered.

 

Coach Wolff did praise his team, explaining they are a good  hard working team, that just needs to realize they can play and win even with teams with better records.

The Bulldogs will be back in action Friday night at home as they host Hamilton County. Game time, 7:45. Craig and Lucas will be on the air around 7:30 Friday night from McDougal Evers Gym. You can catch the game on WRUL 97.3 FM and on-line at wrul.com

 

The Norris City Omaha Enfield Fighting Cardinals picked up a victory Tuesday night as the Redbirds defeated Cisne 45 to 40, the third win in a row for NCOE.

Jack Riggs was the high scorer with 18 points. Conner Brackey put up 13 and Brandon Skaggs added 12 for the Cardinals.

Tuesday games was broadcast on 92.1 FM and AM 1460 WROY. Jeff Skaggs and Joey Lane had the action covered. They will be on the air Thursday night as the Fightin Cardinals take on Crab Orchard at 7:30. That game will also be broadcast on WROY 1460 Am and 92.1 FM.

 

The NCO grade school players picked up a win in overtime Tuesday night as they defeated Smithon 40 to 34 at the Class M Southern Illinois Junior High School Association boys basketball semi-finals. NCO will now play Pinckneyville Friday at 7:30 for the championship.
