Recycle Day
Carmi and White County residents will be able to unload old televisions and other electronics for recycling next weekend.
Area residents can drop off items from 9 until 1, Saturday, Feb. 9 at 520 North Third Street, here in Carmi.
Computers, televisions, radios, cell phones, laptops, servers, DVDs, stereos, all computer parts, mice and keyboards, printers, microwaves and vacuum cleaners will be accepted.
White goods, refrigerators, batteries, mercury containing items, thermostats, light bulbs, air conditioners, explosives or liquids will not be accepted.
Carmi Mayor Jeff Pollard reminded area residents to not drop off items prior to the Saturday collections.
