Busy Week in White County Court

 

It’s been a busy week in White County Circuit Court, with four individuals sentenced to time in an Illinois Correctional Facility, according to White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud.

Monday, Skyler N. Johnston, 25 of Grayville was sentenced to three years and one year mandatory supervised release on a charge of possession of methamphetamine; a class three felony.

Grayville Police were the investigating agency in the case. Judge T. Scott Webb was the sentencing judge. Johnston was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle.

Three individuals were sentenced Wednesday, including women from Carmi and Fairfield and a McLeansboro resident.

Johnathan G. Fann, 36, McLeansboro was sentenced to eight years in prison and two years mandatory supervised release on a charge of unlawful use of property; a class two felony.

Fann had been arrested by Carmi Police,

Webb oversaw the case and Rhonda Blades was the defense attorney.

Fairfield resident, 32 year old Amanda M. Scott was sentenced to three years behind bars on a charge of theft, a class four felony. She was also ordered to serve one year supervised release.

That case was investigated by the White County Sheriff’s Department. Webb was the presiding judge and Shinkle was the public defender.

Brandi L. Holland will also serve two years in prison and one year mandatory supervised release on a charge of criminal damage to property, a Class four felony.

Carmi Police investigated the Holland case. Shinkle was the public defender and Judge Mark Stanley handed down the sentence.
