Bus Leases Top NCOE School Board
The NCOE School Board met November 14 for their regular meeting. The minutes and bills were approved as presented.
The Board discussed in detail the option to re-lease or purchase busses for the district. The District currently has 5 busses on lease that are coming due in January. The Board voted in favor of purchasing 6 busses to replace the current busses on lease. The Board also discussed implementing a rotation schedule for future replacements of the aging busses.
The winter concert and chili supper will be December 7th. NCO will hold their Christmas Program on December 18 at 6:00 pm and Booth is having their Program on December 20 at 6:00 pm.
The Board accepted the renewal of the property, general liability, and workers compensation insurance policies. The policy premiums had a modest increase overall.
The Board employed Patti Chittenden as cook at Booth.

-Accepted intent to levy taxes next month.
-Accepted the resignations of Brandi Goodwin, aide; Lauren Schlachter, aide; and Kim Garlick, cook.
-Accepted FMLA request from Betty Trousdale.
– Accepted retirement letter from Lora Marsh.
