Hamilton County Election Results
Hamilton County will have a new sheriff following Tuesday’s mid-term elections.
Incumbent sheriff Robert L. Crow was defeated by his challenger Tracy L. Lakin by a vote of 1872 to 1730.
Hamilton County’s Clerk will keep her job as incumbent Mary Anne Hopfinger defeated challenger Trenton Butler, winning 2359 to 1209.
Hamilton County also had a liquor question on the ballot and the voters decided the Village of Dahlgren will regulate the sale of alcoholic liquor with the village limits, meaning Dahlgren is now “wet”. That passed by a vote of 126 to 52.
