President Visits Southern Illinois

President Donald Trump was in Murphysboro, IL Saturday hosting a campaign rally along with Representative Mike Bost.

A crowd estimated at over 4000 showed up for the rally. While there the President made remarks about Saturday’s mass shooting at a Pittsburgh, PA synagogue.

Reports said the President had considered cancelling Saturday’s appearance in southern Illinois but felt it was important to be here and not let “horrible things that happen change how we live our lives.”

The rally was held at the Southern Illinois Airport.
