Kiwanis Corn Day Car Show - October 8, 2022
The Carmi-White County Schools are conducting Child Find/Preschool Screenings for 3 to 5 year-old children not yet enrolled in public school.  The screening checks every child’s progress in hearing, vision, speech, language, and coordination skills.  This will give parents a better idea of how their child is progressing at this very young age before he/she begins school.  The screening program is FREE.  Parents will receive immediate feedback on their child’s development.  Head Start personnel may also be present to explain their program and services.
The 68th Annual Piopolis Shooting Match and Raffle will be held Sunday October 9th beginning at 12 noon, sponsored by the St. John the Baptist Holy Name Society. Piopolis is located six miles north of McLeansboro IL on Route 242 or ten miles south of Wayne City on Route 242.
